What if I find errors on my site after it goes live?
Vision Design performs a group evaluation of each completed website before and after it goes live using an extensive quality control checklist to test links, optimize for search engine placement and assess general website appearance & functions. Our customers are also given the opportunity to review their site and provide final corrections and approval before going live.
Even with a team effort to create a flawless website, it’s still occasionally possible to find a broken link or typo. We will take responsibility for correcting these errors; just send us an email to bring it to our attention.
How will I be charged for future changes to my website?
Ongoing changes and extra training are not covered by the original website estimate unless specific arrangements are made ahead of time. If you ask us to make revisions to your site after the outlined project has been completed, we will bill you for our time. Minor changes will be billed in 15-minute increments. We will provide an estimate ahead of time for more extensive requests.
After your website goes live, you will likely receive feedback from your customers on your site’s functionality and content, or you might want to implement new technology or changes that will improve the user experience. For these reasons, we recommend setting aside a budget for annual updates and improvements after your site goes live.
Will I be charged if I have a simple request like a password change, or I’ve misplaced the link to access my web control panel or stats program?
No. Resetting passwords and helping you access your various accounts are minor requests that we consider part of our role as your web host. You will not be billed for these requests.
How long will take for my website to begin showing up in web searches?
Vision Design has covered the bases for getting your site listed – we’ve submitted your site to major search engines and directories and we’ve performed Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to increase the likelihood that your site will be recognized for the keywords your customers will use to find you.
