Thern, Inc. has remained a family-owned winch and crane designer/manufacturer in the midwest for over 60 years. The company’s diverse set of product offerings find use in most industrial markets, including theatre and entertainment. Thern Stage Equipment, a unique branch of Thern, Inc., provides lifting, rigging and loadhandling capabilities for theatre application and environments.
Vision Design worked with marketing staff to redesign and reorganize the Thern websites: Thern.com and ThernStage.com. The overall project was to make the two sites more user-friendly and structure them to be similar in look and feel but industry specific where appropriate The new sites highlight the products, provide valuable data sheets and give application examples. Google Custom Search allows the user to search both sites even though they are on different URLs. Video and an announcement highlight bar were added as well.
Print design services
Vision Design has designed a number of effective product support brochures for Thern–always keeping in mind the importance of being direct, visually accurate and clearly communicating the right information for the end user. Longstanding relationships with a variety of excellent printers means Vision Design can manage print projects from start to finish.
Thern, Inc. frequently contracts Vision Design to photograph winches, cranes and theater equipment immediately upon assembly and before shipping out. This photography comprises a growing library of images used directly by Thern’s marketing department.
Two dimensional, three dimensional or in motion…logo design, product ideation/rendering and video presentations all fall into the realm of Vision Design capabilities.
