What began as a modest aggregate company in 1959 has transformed into a conglomerate of businesses built from the ground up, including eight ready-mix concrete plants, an aggregate facility and two transport and storage facilities. Today, Kohner Materials services a 150-mile radius around the Southeast Mississippi River Valley and Southwest Wisconsin.

Growth looks awesome! With a new website, Kohner has a platform that works great today and can keep up with tomorrow’s progress. This much-needed upgrade transformed the existing website into a modern WordPress platform that is easy to use and maintain.

A new site means a new design and a thorough content review. The old website had become difficult to update, leaving some content outdated and some locations not given the light they deserved. The new design highlights all 11 locations with a streamlined, interactive map. Users can select any location from the map or location side menu to find directions, contact information, and a link to a dedicated landing page.

A full SEO overhaul was also implemented to promote content and encourage new users. This strategy included adding relevant keywords to important pages, updating marketing content across all pages, and ensuring all locations are claimed on Google. Over time, these steps will help the website rank higher on search results and improve online credibility.
