When the Wabasha County Historical Society & Museum came to us, their goal was simple but important: to make their rich local history more accessible, engaging, and easy to explore online. As stewards of Minnesota’s heritage, they needed a website that invites visitors in, shares stories clearly, and simplifies how people get involved—whether by visiting, attending events, becoming members, or donating.

We started with a design refresh that honors the Society’s unique identity, incorporating prominent imagery that reflects the character of the region and its rich history. Navigation was reworked to make key information easy to find, with main menu links like “Visit,” “Exhibits,” “Events,” and “Stories” placed front and center. This allows visitors to effortlessly move from reading about an upcoming Open House to planning their visit or exploring exhibits. Membership and donation pages are now clearly labeled and easy to access, making it simple for supporters to get involved.
