Website Launch: Holmen Area Historical Society

The Holmen Area Historical Society recently partnered with us to transition their website from a limited Weebly platform to a more flexible and scalable WordPress solution. The goal was to create an engaging, easy-to-manage site that better reflects the Society’s mission of preserving and sharing local history.

The new website offers a refreshed design with improved navigation and a structure that makes it simple for visitors to explore exhibits, learn about the organization, and stay informed on upcoming events. One of the most exciting additions is the integration of a virtual museum. Through embedded Past Perfect displays, visitors can browse select artifacts, photos, and documents online—bringing pieces of Holmen’s history to life in a searchable, accessible format.

The updated Events section now features a clear annual calendar with room for detailed event descriptions and photos. Optional online membership and donation tools were also added, making it easier for supporters to join and contribute securely.

With WordPress as the new foundation, the Holmen Area Historical Society now has a reliable, future-ready platform backed by ongoing support, hosting, and training—ensuring their digital presence grows alongside their mission.
